Campaign of the Month: September 2013
This talent can only be learned by t’skrang.
Tail Dance enhances the adept’s options in tail combat by modifying the rules of the Tail Attack and Tail Parry combat options. The adept must have a higher Initiative than his opponents to use Tail Dance against them.
When using the Tail Attack combat option, the adept makes a Tail Dance Test against the Physical Defense of the opponent he wishes to target with the additional tail attack. If successful, tail attack does not cause any penalties this round.
When using the Tail Parry combat option, the adept makes a Tail Dance Test against the highest Physical Defense of all opponents in close combat range. If successful, either does tail parry not require a weapon or piece of armor attached to the tail, or the defense bonus can go up to +5, for an equal penalty, if the weapon or armor is attached. Using Tail Dance to enhance a tail parry allows the adept to announce or modify an announcement use of the Tail Parry combat option mid-round.
