Krilworms are the male counterpart to the female Krillra. Krilworms are nocturnal flyers, traveling in swarms from eight to eighty members, and feeding on large insects and small mammals. Their needle-like teeth drip a foul-smelling substance that many believe to be toxic. They have segmented bodies about eighteen inches long, with bat-like wings sprouting near the front. Eyeless, they “see” through divination magic organs that look like six open, running sores. Krilworms have a strange affinity for Nethermancers.
On occasion, swarms of krilworms attack large animals and humanoids, bet a determined character can easily drive off these swarms. For each krilworm killed fighter a larger opponent, the swarm makes a Willpower (4) Test. If the test is successful, the swarm continues its attack on the target, otherwise the swarm leaves to find easier pickings.
Affinity for Nethermancers: Krilworms have a peculiar affinity for Nethermancers, and Nethermancers in turn often harbor a soft sport for these loathsome creatures. This unusual affinity allows Nethermancers to add a +2 bonus to any Interaction Tests they make against a krilworm’s Social Defense.
Locate Target: This ability replaces a krilworm’s normal sight, but also works on invisible or hidden targets. The powerful divination organs can (so far) only be used by krilworms, and are worthless on the open market. The power’s range is 24 yards (12 hexes).
