Campaign of the Month: September 2013
The small town of Darranis began some 20 years past with the opening of Kaer Darranis
nearby, and the town now lies strategically placed again on the ruins of old Darranis, at the junction of the Coil River and a tributary leading down from the Throal Mountains. The town offers ferry service to the opposite bank of the river for caravans traveling both east and west, and also serves as home port to T’skrang boatmen who hire out their boats to carry goods and travelers up the Coil River as far as the town of Ardanyan. These services have brought prosperity to the inhabitants of this relatively new town, which has a diverse population of Name-Givers. The Adiapae Rapids lie downstream from Darranis, making river travel south of
the town both risky and extremely dangerous, if not impossible.
